Till ("the app", "we", "us") is a shared countdown app made by NTP Co. We built Till to collect as little personal information as possible. This policy explains what we handle and how.
To use Till you may enter: a display name, a chosen color, an optional profile photo, and an optional city/time zone (used to show your local time and distance). You also create content — countdown titles, dates, emoji, photos, notes, mood check‑ins, drawings and plan items.
This content is stored on servers we operate through Supabase, our hosting and database provider, which processes it on our behalf. Photos and drawings are stored in our file storage on the same infrastructure. A copy is also kept on your device so the app and its widgets work offline.
Till creates an anonymous account for your device the first time you open the app — no email, no password, no name required. If you choose Sign in with Apple, that anonymous account is linked to your Apple ID so your data follows you to a new device. We receive only the identifier Apple gives us; if you use Apple's private relay, we never see your real email address.
When you pair with someone, the two of you form a pair. From then on, your daily check‑ins, drawings and any countdown you explicitly share are visible to that person — and only to that person. Countdowns you keep private stay private. Leaving the pair, in your profile, ends that access immediately for both of you.
An invite link or code is only valid until it is used or until it expires.
Till offers an optional paid subscription. Payment is handled by Apple; we never see your card or payment details. We use RevenueCat to know whether a subscription is active, identified by a random identifier we generate — not by your name or email.
To understand how features are used and to improve the app, Till uses Amplitude. Events are bucketed — for example, whether a countdown is shared or solo — and are designed to contain no names, no photos, no notes and no countdown titles. They are tied to a random identifier, not to your identity. Amplitude also records anonymized session replays of the app's own screens to help us find usability problems.
We sometimes advertise Till. To know whether those ads work, the app can send Meta a signal that you installed the app or started a subscription. iOS asks for your permission first (the "Allow Till to track…" prompt). If you decline — or never answer — no advertising identifier is collected and no such signal is sent. You can change your answer any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Because this signal can be matched to you by Meta, Apple classifies it as tracking, and we declare it as such on our App Store privacy label.
With your permission, Till sends local and push notifications for reminders, milestones, surprises, drawings and "thinking of you" nudges from your person. To deliver them we store a device token on our servers. You can disable notifications any time in iOS Settings.
If you add a photo, Till accesses the image you choose (with your permission) and uploads it to our storage so the other person can see it. If you allow calendar access, Till reads events only on your device to suggest dates — those events are never uploaded, and Till never modifies your calendar.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else. If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, your content is transferred to and stored in the United States under the standard contractual clauses our providers offer.
You control your data. You can delete any countdown inside the app, leave your pair, or delete your account entirely from your profile. Deleting your account removes your profile, your countdowns, your check‑ins, your drawings and your photos from our servers. Content you shared with your person that still belongs to them — a countdown they created, for example — stays with them.
Deleting the app alone does not delete your data from our servers; use the in‑app deletion, or write to us at the address below and we will do it for you.
Till is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
